Black Eyed Pea Mix is seasoned just right for a great flavor. The Queen’s husband, “Mr. Bean” as he prefers to be called, says that once a year, on New Year’s Day he eats enough to last a year, but he gets them more often than that—they are lucky all year at the Bean Castle.
The peas are great with a meal, in “Texas Caviar”, a popular dip recipe, or in a New Years stew. Just add cabbage, ham and broth if you want it thinner.
